Smarter by Design.....how we came to be.

Time flies when you're having fun!

Smarter by Design began the spring of 2000 when two Lehigh University alumnae decided to blend their right and left brain talents to design and develop web sites.  Our first client was a local business, whose risk-taking and patience we still appreciate today.

After almost 10 years (yikes, has it been that long???) and many projects later, we continue our quest to keep up with technology and the challenges it presents. When we first began, HTML was "Greek" to most of our clients. Now we have clients who use their computer savvy employees to update their CMS-designed sites. Smarter by Design successfully develops and maintains web sites for many organizations and businesses throughout the Lehigh Valley region.  Located in Allentown, PA, we have primarily depended on "word of mouth" to expand our growing portfolio of clients.

The original right brain segment of SBD was replaced with a network of talented, intuitive thinkers whom we have worked with over the past 10 years, and the left brain is often complemented with a programmer whose talents and knowledge never cease to amaze her.  In short, Smarter by Design has an extensive group of really smart people who help us to get things done.

Smarter by Design will continue to strive to meet the unique needs presented by every client, for every project. And, as always, we pride ourselves in producing sites that are "smarter by design" both functionally and aesthetically. And, in our quest to please our clients, we'll never stop learning new stuff!
